The aviation hero of the Battle of Britain, the Hawker Hurricane is one of the most significant aircraft in British history. It was the RAF’s first production aircraft to exceed 300mph and the first multi-gun monoplane fighter in RAF service. Thirty-two Squadrons of Hurricanes saw action during the Battle of Britain.
