A07007B Heinkel He111 H-6 Motorhead 'Bomber' Special
Product Info
The renowned heavy metal band Motorhead witnessed a surge of notoriety when they became the subject of the striking album artwork for their 1979 album 'Bomber'. The bandmates are depicted inside a Heinkel cockpit. Lemmy, a WWII enthusiast, and avid collector insisted on a German aircraft. The album sleeve made such an impression on the band that they insisted on bringing a 40-foot Heinkel replica on stage with them for their now-famous 'Bomber' tour. In celebration of the 40th Anniversary, Airfix presents the Heinkel with 'Bomber' markings and an Anniversary box lid.
